"B&B in a very quiet rural location with a lovely friendly host. Our room was spacious, light and airy with good wifi Very comfortable bed with quality bedding and towels. A traditional breakfast with lots of home made preserves and fresh apple juice. No resaurants nearby, so we brought prvisions for our evening meal. We loved the three donkeys in the field opposite, the great views and the stunning sunset."

"A beautiful hotel situated in an old windmill, right next to the river, with amazing views. The rooms are lovely, clean and well equipped and the shower is great. All of the staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Our evening meal was wonderful, as was breakfast, with a wide and varied range of excellent, fresh products. You can wander downstairs to sit by the river, passing through a room containing the workings of the old windmill, a bit like a museum, which is really interesting. There is a huge free car park, including spaces with electric charging points."

"The hotel was a great place to meet up with a friend for a couple of nights. Their restaurant offered a good selection for dinner and both of our meals were very tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast was also economical and offered breads, yogurt, meats, cheeses, and fruit along with very good coffee. Our room was comfortable and clean with excellent bedding and comfortable beds. I also appreciated having a mini fridge and a water kettle in the room. The staff was very helpful in letting us know that hotel guests got free entry to the beaches and discounts on kayak or SUP rentals. We were right across from a little lake with nice beaches, a waterfront restaurant where we ate one night and a great ice cream shop. There is also a campground/cottage resort nearby where morning yoga was offered and a small open air market was held. It was a very good experience."

"Pour une rare fois, les photos donnent un portrait qui ne rend pas tout-fait justice à l'appartement qui est vraiment agréable, bien équipé et très bien situé dans une village médiéval. Le village est vraiment agréable à marcher. Il y a un peu de touristes mais on en ressent pas vraiment la présence. Méfiez-vous des lundis car tous les commerces sont fermés ! Issigeac est un bon pied à terre pour explorer la région. Nous avons voyagé par temps de canicule; on trouve de nombreux endroits de baignade en rivière sur les bords de la Dordogne qui serpente la région. Châteaux, grottes et vignobles à profusion..."

"Just returned from just over a week in Kim’s beautiful property with my wife and young family and we had the best time. The house is really charming and Kim and Russ have thought of absolutely everything. Kim was here to greet us and had provided a wonderful hamper complete with little treats for the kids - that made their day after a long drive!The highlights are certainly the spacious grounds and incredible heated private pool along with your own driving range which kids and adults absolutely loved! The feeling of space and privacy made the break really feel like getting away from it all. Kim was so good with the comms and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and shared some great tips on the local area. It’s great to have her and Russ next door to take care of anything that’s needed (not much) but at no point did it feel intrusive or impact on our privacy. A beautiful property and a lovely break - thanks for everything Kim and Russ. "
