"Friendly staff , tasty buffet breakfast everyday included in your stay which you need to reserve a table for each day/time, 5 mins walk from Legoland and 20 minutes walk from Lego house. Took an uber from the airport as it was night but can get a bus. There is also a leaf deli restaurant area where you can purchased cold foods such as sandwiches andpastas and even food to heat in the microwave in there such as pasta bolognese, The hotel also features a fridge in room, a full sized gym equipped with treadmills and rowers etc , a swimming pool, play area with ball pit and a leisure zone with futsal and table tennis tables and best of all right next to our room there was a very cosy living room area with books great for winding down from the day. Loved every minute of it and will definitely recommend to everyone that visits Billund. The room was a great size too with 2 chairs , a wet room, large sink area , tv (with chrome cast) and hairdryer. Free WiFi too"

"Absolutely fantastic place. Plenty to do, can purchase extra wristbands if required for all the activities. Waterpark was brilliant, fun for all ages. We went for 2 whole days. Accommodation was wonderful, clean and well cared for. Supermarket on site, which was not too pricey. Location was brilliant, Legoland across the road, and a nice walk into town for the Lego house "

"This is not a B and B..There was NO breakfast...and the "hotel" is next to a pig farm and smells terribly. There are flys everywhere, and I spent 30min killing flys in the room. That said- the room was inexpensive--so you get what you pay for. The room was not dirty--but It was not really clean. There were stains on the walls, draperies and on bedding. The towels are thin, well used and minimally absorbent. The pillows were equally flat and should be replaced. I would not walk without shoes in the room due to cleanliness. Overall I would NOT stay here again due to the pig farm smell, the flys and overall cleanliness. That said, it was quiet."

"Hestkaer Family Rooms is a fantastic family run place to stay with your young family. Only 20 minutes drive from Billund and the attractions, without having to pay the over inflated prices for staying next to Legoland! Spacious rooms allow you to spread out in comfort and the games and activities on site will keep the kids amused for hours. On site kitchen allows for preparing your own meals, thus saving a small fortune on eating out. There is also bbq’s available should you fancy grilling outdoors. Myself and my kids loved staying here and I can certainly recommend it."
