"We got a suite with a kitchenette, small lounge area and our own bathroom. Was more beautiful than the photos and more space than we were expecting. The view from every window was incredible. Parking was extremely easy. Close to everything in the town, walking everywhere in the town is so easy and there are a lot of great dining options nearby as well as two grocery stores. If you have any mobility issues, be aware that there are a lot of stairs to access the property."

"We loved our remote cabin which overlooked the volcanic glacier and the glass design meant the sun streamed in. The beds were super comfortable and there was a small amount of tea and coffee available. The bedroom and shower worked very well. We found the cabin very handy to travel into the next village for food and took several trips out in the car around the waterfalls and hot springs. The farm is along a well maintained gravel road from the main highway. The owner was very helpful by E Mail as the weather caused several roads to close further east. In the end they reopened allowed us to continue our travels. Highly recommended "

"We had 2 emails before we arrived, one from Heimleiga CS and one from Godo Property. Each assigned us a different room and key box codes. This was very confusing. The apartment was clean and new. Not a grain of salt or coffee on the premises so you need to take all the basics or else buy locally. Good blackout curtains and quiet at night. We could not get the tv to work but otherwise all was good. It is a central location and if you want to eat out there are several options close by. Heimaey itself is a lovely spot and we enjoyed our stay. 2 nights was perfect. "
