"We wanted to stay in a non touristic city and Reggio N’ell Emiligia sounded great. We were not disappointed. The city is small and very walkable with lots of lovely restaurants and alfresco bars in the streets surrounding the hotel. It was great visiting the museum about the founding of the Italian flag. We appreciated the safe parking for a small fee. Luis was fantastic, sorting out the car emission permit, helping park our car in the garage and giving recommendations for dinner. He was super quick in communicating with us. We loved the hotel which is lovely and had a great breakfast, especially the delicious cappuccinos. Sadly the restaurant was closed whilst we were there. On Saturday morning there is a lovely local produce market with great produce. I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely hotel for its friendly vibe in a lovely area and Luis who is a top manager."

"We had our wedding at the palazzo and stayed there 4 nights with friends and family and it was perfect! The palazzo was very spacious with more than enough room for our party of 15. Each floor is its own apartment with bedrooms, a living space, kitchen and bathrooms. It was very clean and well kept, and the garden was beautiful and blooming with roses during our stay in mid May. One thing to note is the village where the palazzo is situated is very remote. We tried to call taxis for transportation at first but there were only two individual drivers in town and they were often not available. We ended up needing to rent cars to get to and from the train station and nearby town. The property host, Mirella, was absolutely amazing. I cannot thank her enough for helping make our wedding day so perfect! We were in communication for almost a year beforehand, as she helped me plan so much of the wedding. She was so incredibly helpful and kind. She set up the arrangement of tables and chairs for the ceremony and dinner, helped me arrange the wedding cake, got me in contact with an officiant, and the list goes on. She truly went above and beyond. Mirella also cooked our wedding dinner for us and our 23 guests and it was incredible! Course after course of authentic and delicious Italian food! We were so full by the end of the night we could hardly eat the cake!If you are thinking of having a small destination wedding or family trip in the mountains of Italy I highly recommend!"

"All the staff was fabulous, attentive, helpful and kind. the hotel is clean, modern, has a great breakfast buffet, the area is busy, but you cannot hear a sound from the room. It's conveniently located a block away a supermarket and pharmacy and walkable distance of the historic part of Reggio Emilia and the Centro Internazionale Loris Malaguzzi. The train stations are 7 minutes away by car or taxi. ."

"This is a beautiful old historical hotel, immaculately looked after. The staff are very helpful, breakfast is good and varied and it’s right in the centre of town. This was my second stay and I suspect I will be back for a third."
