From the moment we arrived, it was clear that John has poured a lot of love and thought into every detail.The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and thoughtful touches throughout. We especially loved the wraparound porch that let us take in the sights and sounds of nature at every turn.The setting is truly serene. Surrounded by tall trees and tucked away from the noise of the world, the only sounds we heard were birdsong, a distant owl at night, and the rustle of leaves in the breeze. Whether sipping coffee in the morning mist, roasting marshmellows in the firepit, or fishing in the lake, we felt completely renewed.John was a gracious host—responsive and kind. The hiking trails on the property and scenic drives made it easy to explore the beauty of Hoosier National Forest.If you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with nature (or with each other), this cabin is a hidden gem.
