"We had an absolutely amazing stay at this villa and felt completely at home from the very first moment. The house itself is beautiful, very well maintained, and offers an incredible amount of space. We especially loved the huge garden with one football table and one ping pong table! The host was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful. She was always available whenever we had a question, gave us lots of great tips about the area. It was also very kind of her to let us have an additional guest stay with us for one night at very short notice!Overall, everything was perfect, and we would definitely come back anytime. "Barzy Urban Country House is a beautifully restored home and former woodworking studio with stunning design and thoughtful details throughout. We were warmly welcomed by Eleonora’s mother, and Eleonora served an incredible homemade breakfast the next morning—complete with fresh local produce, fantastic vegan options, homemade juices, and figs picked straight from the tree! Our room was spotless and dog-friendly, featuring comfortable amenities and exposed wood beams. The shaded patio is lovely, and practical perks like free secure parking, fast Wi-Fi, and nearby transit/grocery options made our visit seamless. Eleonora is a wonderful host who kindly shared the story behind the renovation. Highly recommended!"

"A very nice, clean, and spacious apartment in a historic building with a beautiful view of Como. Angelo, the host, is funny, communicative, and very helpful. We really enjoyed our little chats with him! Ciao, Angelo! It was nice to meet you! There is also a large, old California redwood tree standing in front of the building just a fun fact. I was surprised to see such a tree growing there!"

"This was probably the best view I’ve ever had from a rental! Unfortunately, with the heat wave across Europe temperatures had been in the high 80’s and there is no AC in this apartment. It didn’t get below 90 F in the apartment our first night and the two fans that were there did little to help. We were working remotely in the evenings and it was almost impossible to try and work and concentrate in that sort of heat, so we ended up finding a new place that had AC for the rest of our stay. However, everything about this apartment was wonderful! Sara, the property manager was great and communication could not have been better. The apartment is a bit up and out of the main town, but there’s a grocery store walking distance and the views are so spectacular! The apartment was clean and had plenty of room for 3 of us. It was also one of the few rentals we’ve had in Italy that supplied coffee and the basics (salt, pepper, olive oil, etc.). I would absolutely stay here again if visiting Como and tempatures were cooler."
