"We had a nice balcony and ocean view. The hotel is very modern and new, with a nice spa. Rooms are on the smaller side but functional. Breakfast was very good. It is a short walk into town. Underground parking was nice. As it's brand new and modern it lacks the traditional Portugal feel if that's what you are looking for. "

"From the moment you drive up the long driveway to Enigma, your first thoughts are that it’s a stunning hotel, an architect’s delight, with amazing views over the countryside. However there were some flaws of the hotel we noticed soon after entering the lobby. The hotel has so much potential to be more and do better than it was. "The staff were amazing, service at the restaurant and bar very good. The room very clean, apart from the shower curtain needing washed or replaced, no coffee was toped up on our second day, but no stress. The bed was extremely comfortable. "
