A wonderful stay at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. The setting, views and wildlife are spectacular, but what really makes this place special is the people. Every member of staff was genuinely warm, welcoming and eager to help.
A special mention goes to Chris at the bar, whose attentive, friendly service was outstanding. He remembered guests, took the time to chat, and made everyone feel valued without ever seeming rushed. Including involving my son in games and fist bumps!
Beautiful lodges can be found all over the world, but it's the staff who create unforgettable memories. Victoria Falls Safari Lodge has clearly built an exceptional team, and they're the reason we'd both return without hesitation. Highlight of our 4 weeks in SW Africa.
Property is nice. Location is good. It's a solid 4 star but not a 5. We arrived after 5 pm and our room was not ready. Bathrobes were not in room. Housekeeping failed to empty trash can. Nightly turndown service was a plus. Breakfast was fine.
Guest services, restaurant staff, housekeeping and all staff we encountered were absolutely phenomenal. Professional, polite, friendly and welcoming. It was nice to be back in Zimbabwe after over a decade and to be reminded of what it feels like to be home. Shout out to the Chefs, the food was exceptional both in the main restaurant and at the spa. If Boma id part of the same chain, the entertainment and food were on the same level - absolutely too notch!
Would highly recommend a stay here and I would gladly come back for more. Shout out to Louise, Ronald, Gibson, Owen, Khumbula (hotel), then Pretty, Precious, Kelly, Nokthula (Spa), and finally Busi and a very smiley other lady who came looking for me when I left abruptly (Boma).
Highly recommend this hotel. Extremely nice staff always making you feel welcomed. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options. The food was great with a lot of vegetarian dishes as well. And everywhere has the view of the watering hole, you never know who you’ll see out there. Beautiful hotel!
Beautiful property, good restaurant, there are few places with wild animals all around you. The room was beautiful. It is what Disney Animal Kingdom Resort is trying to achieve.
Staffs are kind and helpful.
View from balcony was fantastic.
Breakfast was also very nice.
I enjoyed sound of birds and soft breeze every morning.
We stayed 2 night 3 days.
This hotel was absolutely GORGEOUS! I was trying to think of a word that summed it up…tranquil. It was beautiful, quiet, staff was super friendly! Just an overall great experience! We would highly recommend it!
An exceptional property with stunning views and exceptional customer service. The rooms are amazing with exceptional views of the watering hole and super comfortable. The lodge is one of the best experiences one can ask for in Africa.
