The loft style layout for the suites is nice, room was very clean but the hide-a-bed was ancient and it forced you to sleep on an inverted angle. Fridge/Freezer doors were on backwards (Room 322) making access very awkward (table in the way). Reminders in room to tip by scanning QR code.
Couldn’t see an ice machine on site anywhere (may be I missed it).
Loads of dishes, kettle, toaster and coffee pod style machine. Well appointed that way. Nice contemporary mirrors with good lighting in the bathroom.
Front desk staff was fantastic.
Breakfast was average buffet fare quality was ok. A lot of emphasis placed on tips, however there was no “service” other than a head count at the entrance and cleaning up the table. Felt rushed, witnessed the staff nearly pushing clients out of the way to clean a dirty table - not sure if that shows enthusiasm or a numbers crunch to get you out quickly. Signs in multiple locations asking you to eat and move on quickly to make room for others and not-so-subtle signs reminding you to scan a QR code and leave a tip.
Location was great. Not sure I would stay again - undecided. I’d give it 3.5/5 but there are no 1/2 stars. Some investment in quality sofas/pullouts along with some service training in the restaurant would go a long way in making this a great space.
