This stunning 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home has been beautifully renovated and is ideally located right on beautiful Langford Lake.

Important Notice: This property, as of May, 1, 2024 has been captured under the BC Short Term Rental Accommodation Act and can not be booked for periods of less than 90.

With ample space to accommodate larger groups and a private dock to enjoy in the warmer months, whether you’re hosting a family holiday, enjoying a vacation with friends, or simply relaxing in the peace and quiet of lake-life this property is the perfect place to call home while you’re exploring southern Vancouver Island.

On the ground floor, you’ll find three cozy, comfortable bedrooms, a small living room and cleverly designed, three-piece bathroom.

The upper floor provides guests with a beautiful open-plan kitchen and living room, fourth bedroom and second bathroom plus, it’s on this floor that guests have access to the stunning wrap-around patio.

The elevated, wrap-around patio that offers guests plenty of seating and incredible views. Here, you will find a lovely outdoor, six-person dining set, a large, outdoor living area, and near the kitchen, guests will find a small bistro table.

On the lower lawn, guests can enjoy a sunny afternoon on a chaise-long or sit by the firepit when the evening turns cooler.

Guests will also find an additional, beautifully renovated miniature summer house with comfortable twin beds ideal for anyone looking for an extra level of privacy from the main house. This space is available seasonally as it requires warm weather to be functional and comfortable. There is also a private dock with additional seating that is perfect for swimming or launching a vessel in the lake!

There is so much to do and enjoy while you’re visiting Langford! You can find sporting events and family friendly activities in the nearby West Hills complex, there are multi-use trails where you can walk, jog or cycle, incredible shopping, and world-class golfing just to name a few! The amenities nearby will make your stay super easy: food markets, warehouse-style stores, and pharmacies just minutes away and if you’re interested in exploring more of the South Island, you can! Sooke, Victoria, the Saanich Peninsula, or the Cowichan Valley, are all easily accessible and are all less than an hour away by car!

If you’re looking for a real Canadian lakeside experience, there’s no better place to book!

We were so impressed with the space and thoughtful supplies for our stay. The bed linens and towels were luxurious and kitchen perfect for our stay! Well supplied and easy access off highway to Victoria and up island! Love it!

Great stay with gorgeous views!

We loved our stay here! It was very comfortable and clean and stocked well with everything you could need. The view out to the lake was absolutely stunning and was a highlight of each morning and night. The only downside was a couple small maintenance issues-a very loose towel rack and one bathroom sink had some issues draining.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse on Langford. The house was very well appointed and really felt like a home away from home.. The trails around the lake were perfect for our dog walks. We would love to return in the summer to take advantage of the outside seating and swimming dock.

Lovely place

The Langford Lake house was a great property that was well equipped and perfectly located. We took advantage of the proximity to the Jordie Lunn Bike Park as well as being right on Langford Lake for some swimming. It was nice to have the EMR Property Manager(s) meet us at check-in to give us a rundown of the property and some local recommendations. We also appreciated the presence of a gate at the top of the balcony stairs that left us comfortable to let our 11-month old have some crawling roam. As well as the heat pump in the main living space that kept us cool during a very hot summer weekend. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location

Property is as described ... wonderful lakefront home conveniently located in Langford. Home was well kept inside and clean but oddly had no closets or place to hang clothes (minor issue). The exterior could use some attention - deck and deck cushions were stained, lots of cobwebs, etc but otherwise great space. Dock was great. Lakefront bunkie was cool but not really usable as had no power and a musty smell. Our EMr host, Donna, was amazing and was able to bring some fresh supplies when the half roll of paper towels ran out (supplies kept locked up).

Beautiful Lake

This place was magical on sunny days. Between the beautiful deck upstairs and the dock on the water we had a wonderful time. The rooms and beds were small so sharing was a little difficult but it worked for what we had. The upstairs bathroom felt a little wobbly when inside like it was an addition and didn't get great airflow. The property was quick to respond when the propane tank ran out. I wish they wouldn't lock up the broom, mop,and vacuum as we were there for a week and like to tidy up as we spend time at a place but there was nothing for us to use. Listed the bunk house as available but when we arrived it wasn't technically ready. We were able to manage using it but I would confirm this prior to arrival.

Perfect location! On the sunny side of the lake with easy access to the Ed Nixon trail

A lot of thought was put into this home. It had a great layout and best of all was the large deck with lovely sitting area and dining table. Proximity to the 2.5 km, Ed Nixon trail was fantastic. The dock for lounging, launching SUPS and swimming was ideal. Water was warm. Would like to have had some outdoor water ‘toys’ provided such a as kayaks would be great. Bedrooms were small but suited our needs. Nice kitchen with great new appliances. BBQ was excellent. Liked having the bar fridge on the lower level. Our greeter, Donna was wonderful and even offered to bring her own blender in case there was not one there. The amenities list should be updated. The management company EMR was very responsive Suggestions: 1. Replace dock ladder which is too small and has very sharp edges. Luckily, we brought lots of bandages. 2. Add outside deck lighting for sitting out in the evening and to play cards/games. 3. Staples such as flour, corn starch, sugar, spices such as chili powder, cinnamon, streak spice, salt and pepper would have been great. Kitchen could also use rubber spatulas and stronger pan spatulas 4. Only real complaint was the mega-loud fan that came on whenever the upstairs bathroom light switch was on. A separate fan switch would be great 5. Also, a small vacuum for quick pick-ups would be great.
