A truly charming property. The staff at the reception and in the dining room was very helpful and nice, especially Alejandra. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of a variety of high quality items, including smoked trout. we had dinner there once as well and it was very good. An added bonus was watching the crested caracara at breakfast. We stayed in the master suite with our own steam room, jacuzzi, and dry sauna. After a long hike we really enjoyed the sauna. We had a wonderful stay at this property, the staff was helpful in anyway possible, offering suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants in the area, and they didn’t disappoint! All their picks were great!
Breakfast was delicious with the best medialunas, and the restaurant had the most wonderful view, with the sunrise every morning.
Our room was excellent, spacious with a view of the lake. We look forward to stay again in the future.

The hotel and staff were amazing. I loved the location because it’s right in the center of the main road, making it easy to get everywhere in either direction. My only feedback is that I wish there were more amenities, some of the ones that were “open” were still under construction, and the bar closed a bit earlier than expected. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Beautiful views. Spacious lobby/breakfast area with large windows opens up to large terrace. Rooms a little dated, but comfortable bedding and functional bathroom with shower/tub. Excellent housekeeping. Breakfast was good, but selection limited. Gravel road up to property from highway is steep and a bit challenging.

What's not to like....the huge jacuzzi with view of the lake? The huge, comfortable bed with view of the stars? the comfortable balcony? the lovely fireplace with fresh wood delivered and set up daily? the wonderful staff? The tranquility? The great people who visit? There's nothing not to like...this place is perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed the place and the service.
Just want to add one thing. The best surprise was its restaurant which we didn't expect much as it's just a hotel restaurant. After having been to the famous restaurant right next door (where Clinton had visited), we found our hotel restaurant had better cooking and quality in food to offer, and not expensive or pretentious like next door.
We thoroughly enjoyed the place and the service.

I stayed in the hotel for 1 night . Everything was great except for 1 thing: the check out time was 10am. Most of the hotels I stay at have an 11am or noon check-out time. We advised the staff that they should consider changing it to 11am at least.
