"The Parque Pros - Laundry facilities - Fridge (very small) - Kettle, toaster & microwave - Air conditioned Cons - very small room (just a bed, table and two dining chairs) - No lounge chairs - Only place to watch tv is lying on the bed. - Tiny ensuite (two’s not just a crowd - it’s an impossibility) - Very expensive - simply not value for money. As an experienced traveller for both work and pleasure, I’ve stayed in more hotels than I’ve had hot breakfasts. And for me - comfort and convenience are the most important factors. And whilst the criteria may differ between work and pleasure there is one very important aspect which never changes. A good nights sleep!! This is where The Parque fails miserably as the lack of soundproofing means your sleep will be disturbed every time your neighbours, or the guests above get up during the night to use the toilet or to “clomp” around for whatever reason. And just to make matters worse, the fridge and air conditioner are noisy as they cycle on and off. Bed was reasonably comfortable if only we’d had a good nights sleep. "

"Room was spotless, fellow roomies were polite & friendly. The dinners were excellent with the big pints of Heineken, the toilet & shower were very spacious which really helped. The staff at reception were really helpful. It's the second time I have stayed at Hotel Give & I'll stay there again when I come back to Christchurch unless I decide to stay with friends. The Hotel has everything you need & is right beside the botanical gardens."

"The room was acceptably clean and quiet as it was at the end of the hallway. even though a bunch of young kids were staying at the hotel and we're kind of rowdy, our room was quite quiet. The housekeeping staff was exceptional"
