Good hotel close to Vienna city centre

Optimal location to explore Vienna. Internal parking offers car charging station. Bed not too comfortable but pretty ok overall, breakfast pretty simple, location is just perfect on the Gurtel. Optimal value for money!

A Lukewarm Pleasure :)

Room was extremely spacious but bed was tiny enough just for 1 person. Pretty clean room, hot water was intermittent but other than that still a comfortable and relatively safe stay.

I needed an affordable no-frills site in the centre of Vienna for my website tracesofevil.com. Room tiny- I feared the toilet door accidentally opening, making it impossible to get into the room from outside. But all I needed was a bed. Was worried about my bike- I could only park it outside in the rain.

My room has a broken window frame on the left side that does not close tightly. This has nothing to do with the rank of the hotel, it has to be done right. There were no cups in the bathroom. Cups would be needed even if it was paper. There was no front desk staff when I checked out. A pair of young ladies were confused. I left my key card at the front desk and left because I had no additional payment. If there were not these problems, I think this hotel is proper for sleeping.

The property is well situated and my single room was nice. The only issue I had is that I stayed 4 nights and not once did I receive clean towels, toilet paper refill or garbage emptying. I had to go to the desk after night 3 to ask for clean towels for my final night. I was told they only replace them if they are on the floor to which I replied that my room had to be entered to see that they were. The person at the desk was very kind and apologetic though.

Very loud and smelly.

Hotel location is in city center. Which is good and bad. Price quality ratio is OK. Room cleanest is fine same as good stuff which was helpful. However I had with my family the worst night ever. The room was facing the street/patio. Because of the very close proximity of one of the main streets in Vienna we had no chance to sleep at all. It was so loud. Even if we closed the window it didnt change anything. We stayed there for a night while traveling to Italy from Warsaw and we were completely wasted next day. Another thing disgusting smell on the patio, entrance to reception and paid parking. We were not able to breath normally. They store in the corner trash with who knows what in there as well. Generally we will never stay there again.

The room was basic but perfectly nice, clean, cosy and comfortable. The biggest problem however was that I needed to checkin through a custom app. The app wasn't secure - my phone refused to load the webpage (as it detected the site wasn't safe) and then as the app wouldn't work through my internet I was forced to join a public network - this is against my company policy so caused major issues on my phone. Why force people to use an app. Have a ipad termal at the front desk - or some backup paper slips. Or at least make your app meet security requirements.
