It is a fine hotel but it needs a renovation. Showers that require a step ladder to get into. The lobby needs a major facelift. Both restaurants closed on Sunday (even for Europe, that’s subpar for a 5 star hotel). That said, the staff was outstanding. Front desk and housekeeping especially.

Excellent location in Vienna Ring 1 to walkable distance to many attractions. Friendly staff and good breakfast buffet. I got upgraded room which is spacious and clean. Definitely recommend.

Having traveled for 30 years and stayed in countless five-star hotels across Europe, this is the first time I've encountered a five-star hotel without hot water, forcing you to take a cold shower on a snowy day. When I called the front desk, there wasn't a single apology – utterly absurd! Five-star price for one-star quality! The housekeeping staff were so unbearably poor that they only came to "clean" after I complained; otherwise, they were just perfunctory!
