Lovely stay!

Quiet location just 2 min walk to multiple tram stations and right on the D line that hits many major sights. Room was quite spacious. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Paper thin walls, loud guests with zero respect for others during my stay. The rooms are fine, a little dated and mine didn't have a carpet. They provide earplugs for a good reason. Location is good and well connected with public transport.

Very nice and helpful staff. Air conditioning in room during hot summer was a major plus. The bed could be a little more comfortable and there is some noise from nearby station, but great value for money, especially if one’s getting a good deal.

Simple hotel in a quiet and convenient location

The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood yet close to public transport. The lobby is clean, light and airy. The room is quiet, tidy and clean but quite basic when it comes to amenities. There is an air conditioner, a flat screen TV and a hairdryer but no mini safe, minibar or an electric water kettle. Rebecca at the reception helped us check in quick and easy on the first day. She was extremely professional, kind and helpful. Rebecca is without doubt the best we have experienced at Hotel Calmo.

The hotel is very old and has not been renovated. The rooms are not soundproof, and noise from the hall easily enters them. The hotel's facilities are outdated and do not match the standards of a Three-star hotel. The breakfast menu is very limited with little variety. Transportation access was good, but the bathroom facilities were also very old and, in some cases, broken.

room was okay, though could use a fresh coat of paint and an overhead lamp in the main room. no fridge nor safe deposit box either.. .... and apparently they do facilitate an icemachine for icecubes... front desk, sweet and freindly, easy and early check-in..

Good value for money though not without problems

Good value for the price, even though not without problems. OK room, good breakfast, useful location with good public transport links and many good restaurants nearby, although not exactly beautiful surroundings. Socket very far from table, not good for working, but they nicely provided an extension cable upon request (reception was generally helpful). No safe, no kettle in room. Trams on the street were very noisy (earplugs were provided but I didn't want to miss my alarm). So window needed closing but then air went bad and too warm quickly. There is AC installed but it wasn't clear how to operate it (if you find that out in the middle of the night it's too late to ask, but maybe in the summer they will provide the control).
