The hotel was pretty decent but has no AC. They have a fan in the room but the cable is a bit short. El3vator is currently not working and breakfast is quite pricey to add so we did not book any breakfast. The room itself was ok and clean enough. Staff were friendly

We had a bit of an unusual arrangement and initial miscommunication was very much due to the third party website used for the initial booking. However the staff themselves were brilliant in helping us resolve the matter and looking after us once we were there. We also arrived in the middle of a heat-wave and the hotel made sure we were looked after and managed to source extra fans to ensure we were comfortable. Breakfast was very good value we felt and very convenient to ensure that we could maximise the short time we had in Vienna for sight seeing. Would highly recommend the hotel for a weekend break and we are already thinking of returning in the autumn.

This hotel wasn’t in a busy area or located near any monuments, but the room was big for European standards, clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were the stars of the property they really made you feel like royalty. I think this place deserves at least 4 stars. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great too. Very happy with my stay here.

Nice hotel

I like this hotel as it is reasonable in price compared to other Vienna hotels. Very helpful staff. Fairly big room with everything you can expect. 5 minutes walk to U-bahn, 10 minutes to tramlines.

The hotel's location was quiet and peaceful, with nothing disturbing at all. Overall, I'd say it's a good value-for-money hotel. The hotel's breakfast was good, a buffet, and the price was economical compared to outside cafes or restaurants, provided they continue to offer the same service. Cleanliness could have been better. The sheets weren't changed, but the towels were replaced regularly.

The staff was very helpfull and polite. Breakfast was good and had plenty of variety. One thing I wish there would've been were berries in some nordic style (other than just on a pie). Other than that everything was overall very pleasant. I would stay at hotel George again.

Don’t let the price fool you, it’s one of the best dollar value for the service and hospitality. From the moment we checked in, the service was consistent and friendly, notably people we interacted with most frequently was helpful, informative and efficient: Daniel and Brooke - kudos to them for their quality service! (This does not dismiss the fact that all the staff here, front of house and the housekeeping folks are consistent and wonderful). Thanks again for such a wonderful experience in Vienna, and also in the diverse and colorful neighborhood of Meidling.
