Great hotel and wonderful staff

Staff were amazing - from reception to bar and restaurant. They went out of their way to make sure my friends 75th birthday was memorable. They were all really friendly and very helpful. Food was excellent and beds extremely comfortable. Once we discovered the underground and how easy it was to get around Vienna we used that all the time and got the City Airport Train back to the airport.

Good, spacious room with very comfortable beds. Table and chairs, plus kettle etc. Close to U1 metro so easy to get around. Small supermarket immediately across the road was good for breakfast items. Front desk staff excellent. Housekeeping needs to be a little better

It was a great choice for us as it was very close to the Metro station and was very convenient for us to travel and explore the city. Lovely budget friendly takeaways near the main road helped us save hundreds of pounds on dinning out every night.

Decent hotel close to congress center

The hotel is clean, nice breakfast and the rooms are big. The congres center is very near and you just walk across the Danube to get there. A negative point would be that the neighboorhood itself is not lively at all, but the center is not far with the U bahn which is very close

Friendly helpful staff

We arrived two hours early for check-in due to our flight, but the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. They took our luggage while we sat in the restaurant and had a drink and lunch while we waited for our room. They even checked with housekeeping to see if our room was ready early. We were in no rush, so we were happy to eat lunch. The staff were very friendly and attentive. One evening for dinner, they didn't have any sugar free drinks for my boyfriend who is diabetic, so they removed the drinks from our bill as a courtesy. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is a short walk from Vorgartenstraße u-bahn station, so it's very quick and easy to get into the city. It was our first time in Vienna and we would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is modern, clean and of a high standard. Having said that, I would have expected that the damaged tiles in the bathroom would have been replaced, not just filled in. I was also surprised that my towels were taken away on one occasion and not replaced, and that the bins weren't emptied. This is not what I would expect from a 4* hotel. Nevertheless the staff were always very helpful and professional, and promptly sorted any issues. Additionally, although the hotel promotes its energy efficient policies, the AC was always left on in the room by cleaning staff, and the towels were replaced even when hung up to be reused as instructed. All in all I would recommend the hotel as the bed was very comfortable, the room is fitted with up-to-date furnishings, and the the hotel is located only a 5-10 min walk from the subway.

Great staff. Very clean. If you prefer to step out of the crowd, Voco is really well positioned. The underground is a 5 minute walk and 10 minutes to attractions on both sides of the Danube. We were 2 females traveling on the transport day and night and felt very safe. The inhouse restaurant and bar are good and there are some great restaurants within easy walking distance.

Zanette at the front desk was an absolute darling! Provide a map of key areas to view in Vienna. The hotel is down the road from the nearest tram and train station, so commuting was easy.
