"The property is not as shown in photos on website. These photos are from several years ago and do not reflect it’s current state. It is very tired and in need of an update. For the price paid I would not expect to arrive and have bed sheets that were many years old (they were clean), a broken toilet seat and a dirty barbecue! Whilst the village is very rural there is nothing there so please ensure you stock up on supplies."

"This was a wonderful gite, the pictures do not do it justice, it is so much more beautiful and so quirky too. We all loved staying here and Gilles and Gaidik made us feel so welcome. They were so kind and helpful and really helped us relax in to our stay as we had had quite a stressful turn of events that led us to staying here. The gite is in a perfect location for so many fabulous towns and historic landmarks! We will be back and will recommend to friends and family!"

"We had a great stay and fantastic weather. Katia, the owner, was really welcoming and really made us feel at home. The property is a bit quirky but clean and well-equipped with plenty of space outside for relaxing, plus a table tennis room and a covered BBQ area. It's an ideal base for exploring the Normandy sights or riding bikes in the quiet lanes."

There was also a chance to buy fabulous butter and Camembert from the farm up the road. This Gite can quite honestly be described as a MUST VISIT..!"

"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub und können das Cottage auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Alles war sauber und komfortabel. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Auch den Whirlpool haben wir genossen. In der Anlage gibt es noch einen großen Pool, den wir aber nicht genutzt haben, da das Meer so pah ist. "

"Vieux-Viel ist ein kleiner und sehr ruhiger Ort. Für uns war es als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region ideal (Mont St. Michel, Avranche, St. Malo, Cancale, etc...). Supermarkt und Tankstelle sind in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Frisches Gebäck haben wir bei den Bäckern in Pontorson bekommen. Egal wo, die Leute waren immer super freundlich :-).
