"We had a lovely stay at this property. There is great parking just outside. We were welcomed warmly and walked to our room. We arrived quite late but were advised we could still have dinner and were given some time to settle in and get back to the dining room. The service throughout the meal was lovely and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. The next morning, we had the breakfast which was also really good. Our checkout was quick. We had our dog and he was welcome everywhere which was really nice."

"The hotel was well positioned for our trip … The outside of the property is tired and in need of an upgrade. But as they say “don’t judge a book by the cover”! The room was good/clean,bed comfy and all laundry fresh . The breakfast was continental but unbelievably good value . We traveled in a high value vehicle and the carpark was gated and secure. Overall a good experience. "

"The staff was extremely concerned with our well being and have offered a very nice commercial gesture to compensate for the lack of hot water in our room. Our room faced the city of Gien and the view was really great. One just have to walk accross a bridge to reach the interesting sidewalk with restaurants on the other side of the Loire. I prefer that view (Castle of Anne de Beaujeu) from the one the hotels on the other side of the rriver would have. Highly recommended hotel."
