Entourage sur-le-Lac

"Entourage sue-le-Lac was the getaway that we were looking for before spending 3 days near old Quebec City. We would relax the first three and be tourists the last three. The resort was exceptionally clean, maintained and probably freshly updated. There are a lot of areas where you can hang out throughout the resort, including a pool table with couch seating, comfortable tables and chair, as well as a play room with a ping ping table. The pool was nice, but be warned that there is no shallow area for little kids to stand in, so bring floaties or use one of their life jackets. The beach area was clean and soft, but our family enjoyed the water activities most. We kayaked every day we were there and the lake is a decent size for you to explore. Our room was very clean, and must have had a recent modern update. We opted to get a king bed room with a sofa bed to keep our travel costs down. Our boys are smaller, so its usually okay, but this sofa bed was very squeaky. The hotel is super quiet and there was not much noise coming from adjacent rooms that maybe made it more apparent. The restaurant, L'îlot, was very delicious, we enjoyed two breakfasts and a dinner there. The servers are pleasant and very helpful. There are also more food options about 5mins down the road. If you like to hike, we enjoyed a drive out to Jacques Cartier National Park and took the L'eperon trail. It was an amazing sightline, but be forewarned, it is a lot of uphill as it summits that mountain."

"Stayed 1 night on the 26th floor, great room. I also stayed 2 nights on the 10th and had a totally different experience. I did not request any parking or breakfast compensation as they said in their response to me. I was informing them that the stay on the 10 th floor was below standard for the additional $800. The room had a broken floor lamp, broken hairdryer, you couldn’t see out the window due to the window needing reglazing and the bathroom shower area had black grout and the ceiling was also black in some areas. The room needs a reno and management should not try to change the messaging when they asked for honest feedback. The pros are the staff are helpful and the beds are comfortable."
