Beautifully designed property with a gorgeous view. Check in and out was easy, ample parking and my family loved The Barn with their bar with snacks, drinks and games so we had an on site evening activity we could all enjoy. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone.

This was a beautiful room. The shower was terrific, the environment was still and quiet and the hotel was located just up the road from the stunning Black Beach, a short drive from the surprisingly plentiful amenities of Vik. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the fact the view to the namesake beach was obscured by another row of rooms in another building.

It was an ideal base camp for our expedition of the mid-southern part of Iceland. The property was in perfect condition, well managed, and had generous amenities. It is located next to major attractions (e.g., Dyrtholaey). I strongly recommend it!

Beautiful location. But the newest part has thin walls and could hear other guests. Be sure to book independent cottage. We did tell staff, but nothing was done to prevent the jumping up and down in unit above us (well past midnight). Still, gorgeous location and nice room. We were to get free drink tickets and did not get them.
