"As a solo traveler I felt safe in this area. Most importantly the hotel was clean, and very quiet. It's about 5 minutes drive to the Port Wine Vila Nova de Gaia. The staff here were very professional and helpful. Brenda the morning shift staff was superb, I Enjoy my stay, will definitely be back."

"Best location in Porto. The exits on the top and bottom of the hotel give you direct access to both levels of the bridge giving excellent access to the river walk or town without all the climbing. Very pleasant staff, great restaurants and bars. Lots of secret little places to sit with stunning views. House keeping shorted us towels and coffee the final day but everything else was so stellar, who cares. "

" Very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Bed was comfortable. Room was compact but efficiently designed. Would stay again. If wanting to explore the local area it would be a car is required otherwise taxis or uber.It was ideal for our requirements."
