"I had a wonderful stay at Herdade do Touril. On a one day trip i Saturday over night only big I really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place. To wake up to the sound of birds and of Violets the donkey was the cherry on top of the cake. Dinner and breakfast were tasty and plenty. The staff was friendly and very professional. A beautiful back at only a few minutes walk through a lovely, wild path Definitely a place to come back to. "

"This was a magical experience! Know you are staying on a farm so it is not about squeaky cleanliness. The room was basic with 3 beds in one room and a couch but it was all we needed to enjoy this unique property with peacock males dancing and showing their plumage and the mothers exhibiting their babies. "Lovely place to unwind and relax. Loved waking up to the sheep sounds, spending afternoons by the pool and enjoying the sunset in my balcony. Staff were lovely, accommodating and very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing get-away."

"Monica and her staff are wonderful, the property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is delicious and generous. For us, after 3.5 weeks of busy travel this was a perfect location to chill. We hung out during the day at the beaches, returned to shower and go back to town for dinner. It’s only 12 min to town/beach. Great place to stay, highly recommend!"
