"A wonderful stay in stunning surroundings. The views on the road from the villa to Peso da Régua are simply breathtaking. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is exceedingly well equipped with every appliance you can think of. The beds are comfortable and all rooms have air conditioning. The pool, although not the largest is ideal and there is a lovely shaded area and bbq. Having said all that, what made it the perfect holiday for us was the warm welcome, care and attention...

"We hebben een erg goed contact gehad met de eigenaren Domingos en Andrea. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien en was erg leuk ingericht. Speciaal was de aparte kamer voor de outdoor BBQ. "This charming hotel punches way above its two-star rating, Lovely helpful and friendly staff, amazing breakfast, comfortable, scrupulously clean and thoughtfully-designed rooms offset the fact that the hotel backs onto the railway -- which is the only reason I can think of that the hotel hasn't earned another star. But in truth, there aren't that many trains (evenings are tranquil). An walk from the train station, the hotel is close to a number of good restaurants."
