"You simply pay for the views at this hotel. There are no frills outside of that (which was fine for my stay) the rooms had AC which was great. The staff was nice but it seems they were understaffed and simple requests took longer than other hotels I stayed at in Portugal. The buffet breakfast was convenient as there aren’t many food choices in the area to go to. I would go back simply because of the views and the relaxing property!"

"Tolles Hotel mit wunderbarer Aussicht rundherum in die Weinberge, allerdings nicht auf den Douro. Sehr ruhige Lage mit Anfahrt über schmale, zum Teil sehr steile mit Schotter bedeckte Wege. Freundliches und engagiertes Personal. Danke auch an das Housekeeping. Top Service der Bar bis zum Pool. Badetücher werden zur Verfügung gestellt.
