"We loved it so much! The staff was incredible. We had a wine tour cancel last minute the night before and they organized an entire half day trip for us on a boat and a wine tasting!
They also had a great breakfast and lunch to order by the pool. And as a bonus had two cute dogs on the property.
It was also such an incredible price point for what it was. I booked the family suite and we had an entire patio to ourselves. "

Quinta de Casaldronho Wine Hotel

"The hotel was in a remote area but had beautiful views and was worth the effort.
The swimming pool was a welcome addition as it was very hot when we arrived.
The dinner and breakfast were good.
There seemed to be a problem with the doors to the rooms which people kept banging to get them to close. Added to that someone managed to open our door when we were almost asleep and the hotel dog ran into our room. Very disconcerting and not condusive to a good nights sleep."

"Staff at the hotel were superb.. I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for a weekend getaway… so inconvenient to get to some of the winery for tastings, but make the best of it…."
