This is the place to stay if you’re coming to Cuenca. Def get a river view. Amazing views super clean delicious breakfast. Lovely staff. Stepping back in time and central to all.

I had a Mountain View room, and the view was spectacular. Very comfortable bed and room in a perfect location. The place does not have Wi-Fi, so if that’s essential to you then it might make a difference in staying here.

Victoria is kind and helpful and the property is a beautiful rambling half hostel but with beautifully appointed rooms and upholstered walls and a treasure of things to look at in common areas. Beautiful old buildings and grounds. Our shower ran cold to cool and was confusing to control, but it was hot and we didn’t ask about it so can’t complain too much there. Pool was also lovely and clean.

A fantastic nice surprise in the middle of nowhere to disconnect from the interconnected world! The hosts were fantastic and very friendly. They're both journalists who have travelled all over the world and we were very luckily to get to talk about common places my partner and I had lived or traveled to.
