"Lovely two-week springtime stay, seeing nature in and around the attractive small lake change in front of our eyes. We pretty much had the site to ourselves - there’s an adjoining gite but it’s discretely separate. WiFi was installed whilst we were there; a nice bonus we didn’t expect. Very well equipped, clean and with wonderful, caring owners. Thanks for the tasty home-made jams and local wine. Well situated for visiting the area. Our big dog had fun too. Recommended!"

"We have stayed in many French properties and this one is unique. Very well equipped, very clean, and the large wood burner kept the whole house warm in late October. Unlimited logs supplied and a lovely bottle of bubbly on arrival. Host met us on arrival and was very reassuring as there was severe flooding the week we arrived. We spotted deer in the fields as well as kingfishers, cormorants and a large heron. Unfortunately no fishing as the river was very high and very fast. Incredible chateaus are easy to get to - Chateau D’usse and Chenonceaux. Chinon worth a visit as well as local markets. Lovely 15 minute walk from the property to the gate through the cyclamen covered private woods. Would love to come back "

"This was a charming, beautiful, comfortable place to stay! The staff were friendly and helpful in offering services and guidance with local sites of interest. The room and views were particularly lovely with water, courtyard, garden, mill, bridge, live geese, roosters, and ducks to add to the charming rustic site. View the pics! It is all very lovely!"

"On arrival at Moulin des Fleuriaux we were delighted with the beauty of its setting. Once inside we found everything we needed, it is well equipped and we very much enjoyed returning there after days visiting Chateaux and places of interest nearby. The weather was mixed during our 10 day stay but we were able to enjoy the outside space on fine evenings and sit around the splendid wood burner inside when it was chilly. Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our holiday."

If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. Would highly recommend as a pit stop if driving from UK to Spain."

"My family had a lovely stay at Vanessa’s property. The pool was beautiful, and the house was well equipped for a family with children under 5. There were more than enough toys to occupy our little ones, and they loved having the choice of spending hours in the pool, or on the trampoline. Would love to stay again!"
