"Eleven if us, aged 13 to 80, enjoyed a delightful holiday here. The Manor is well-equipped, nicely furnished, and plenty big enough for a large party. It is well-situated for most of the major attractions of the Loire Valley. The grounds offer swimming, cycling, boating, walking, and a wide variety of games. The hostess, Anne Paillard, is very responsive, helpful & charming. It could not have been better. "

"Wow what a find . This place is like staying at a picture postcard and the owners can’t do enough for you . They accommodated our slightly late arrival and cooked us up a French food delight . Best food we have eaten on our whole 3 week trip together with the best b and b we have stayed in . I cannot recommend this place enough and the surrounding medical village is just gorgeous. You can even have a swim in the lake and have a dip in a hot tub . We will definitely be back and have a longer stay . Thank you ."

"What a stunningly beautiful setting. It’s like being *in* a painting by John Constable. The river and surroundings are just exquisite. The house is beautifully furnished too. The owner greeted us personally and was warm and kind, and the checking out was very smooth. As others have said, it’s not for the elderly or for young children because the stairs to the bedrooms are effectively a ladder. It’s an old building, so inevitably quite a few dusty corners and the oven is small as is the dishwasher. "

"The property is excellent though it’s probably worth mentioning that it is all on the first floor. Pool is fantastic. Very hot whilst we stayed so maybe another couple of fans would be useful though air conditioning would be a good upgrade. "

"The setting is absolutely stunning. We had great weather and access to the river was terrific. Such a relaxing place. Lots of wildlife around including European beavers. An incredible range of things to do in the surrounding area and for the British a relatively easy drive down from the channel ports. "

"Lovely two-week springtime stay, seeing nature in and around the attractive small lake change in front of our eyes. We pretty much had the site to ourselves - there’s an adjoining gite but it’s discretely separate. WiFi was installed whilst we were there; a nice bonus we didn’t expect. Very well equipped, clean and with wonderful, caring owners. Thanks for the tasty home-made jams and local wine. Well situated for visiting the area. Our big dog had fun too. Recommended!"
