"This is an amazing hotel! The people are friendly and treat you like family. The food is excellent and the morning coffee was included. We stayed in the panoramic suite which was wonderful, but there were 99 stairs between the piazza and our room. The tiny elevator only goes halfway up. But the view of the Duomo was breathtaking! The staff communicated before the trip by email and answered several questions. There is a train a block from the hotel that goes straight to the airport. We walked everywhere and saw amazing sights every time. "

"HU was great. Florence is a beautiful but it is a zoo. It was nice to stay at HU away from the crowds. We drove from Sienna and were able to check in early. Our cabin was lovely. The pizza at the restaurant was some of the best we had in Italy. The 14 bus (14A on the ride back) was only a 20 min. ride. My kids loved the pools way more than the Uffizi. Wish we had more time to lounge by the pools. It was nice to see how Europeans vacation."
