This holiday home in Vinci with 2 bedrooms hosts a family of 4 with children comfortably. It comes with a shared swimming pool and heating and offers a Tuscan ambience and beautiful hill view. A perfect spot for enjoying vacation in a countryside location, far from the city hustle.

You are in the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, so do not forget to visit the house where he was born and the Leonardo Museum in the castle. The beautiful surroundings are picture perfect and relaxing. You can explore the nearby places like Florence, Pistoia, Pisa, Lucca and Siena. Enjoy tennis and golf in the vicinity. For your daily essentials supermarket and restaurants can be reached at 2 km.

Bake some cookies for the evening in the oven in the spacious kitchen. Your kids will love playing in the playpen. The heating will keep you cosy. 2 double beds and a children's bed are provided to keep you comfortable. Kids can run and explore the furnished garden while you prepare the barbecue. The Wi-Fi is provided through a portable device offering significantly lower speed as compared to the standard Wi-Fi.

The swimming pool is opened from the 1st June up to and including half October.

Not the stay in Tuscany I was expecting

The accommodation in apartments 3 & 6 were not the kind of place I would want to spend 2 weeks. The rooms are very dark, with very small windows. There is no place to sit other than at the dining room table (there is no lounge). Apartment 6 has no windows in the kitchen so you are sitting in a cave. Apartment 4 you can just see a few trees. The entire house is surrounded by 20-30ft hedges so you have no view of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The same of the pool area. Until 4pm it was too hot to sit outside. After then the mosquitos come out and you are eaten alive. So we basically paid to sit at a dining room table in a cave. The kitchen is poorly equipped so we were limited it what we could eat.

Residence calme mais logement sombre manque evident de clarté dans toutes les pieces. Très peu de confort et beaucoup de toiles d'araignées. Un filet d'eau dans la cuisine. Pas pratique pour faire la vaiselle. Heureusement que la ville de Florence est magnifique

Gastvrij ontvangen, zeer vriendelijke beheerder. De accommodatie was eenvoudig ingericht. Keukenraad wat rommelig. Het had iets schoner gekund. De omgeving en het uitzicht vanaf de accommodatie zijn prachtig. De oprijlaan naar de accommodatie daarentegen is er slecht (veel kuilen en hobbel) en evt. problematisch voor lage/zwaar beladen auto’s.

Ons huis, le CONOLIE had een grote tuin met een onverwarmd !!ovale zwembad.Dit zwembad was in het begin groen van de alg ( te weinig Chloor) maar dit werd snel opgelost. Het keukengerei was wat sober, er was geen fluitketel of waterkoker aanwezig. Ook een magnetron miste we. De beloofde TV was er ook niet maar dit werd snel verholpen. De slaapkamers waren mooi en ruim en hadden muskietengaas voor de ramen. Keuken was ruim. Badkamer met douche en WC waren OK. We hadden een mooi uitzicht op o.a. Vinci, wijn- en olijfgaarden. s'avonds konden we genieten van de uilen en vuurvliegjes. Vinci ligt mooi in het centrum van Toscane om de highlights te bezoeken. Siena en Florence hebben we per trein bezocht vanuit station Empoli. Al met al een zeer mooie en geslaagde vakantie ( 1500 foto's om uit te zoeken) met heerlijk Italiaans ijs.

Een mooie locatie en onderkomen om een heerlijke vakantie te hebben. Met hangmat, fijn zwembad, voldoende ligstoelen en parasols. In Vinci vindt ook een weekend land (in midden juli) het unicorn festival plaats.

Mooie tuin, bomen en gras rond zwembad. Uitzicht. Huis is op mooie wijze gerenoveerd en in 5 appartementen ingedeeld. Goede bedden (2x 2persoons). In de omgeving zijn heel veel plaatsen die de moeite waard zijn (waaronder Florence, Pisa, Lucca, maar ook minder bekende plaatsen als Pistoia en Prato). Vinci is aardig plaatsje met voldoende kleine winkels en restaurants. Supermarkten wat verder weg. (Zwak) wifi bij de receptie. Ontvangst door eigenaresse begon wat onaardig met wat veranderingen op contract: vertrek moest voor 9 uur op zaterdag, er moest nog 20 euro betaald worden voor schoonmaak en energie (of valt dit onder milieu en gas???). Ander gezin dat gek werd van de muggen (appartement in de zon, geen luiken om hitte buiten te houden, dus ramen moesten echt open s avonds) en aanbood horren te maken moest dan wel zelf het materiaal kopen..... De zoon was hulpvaardiger en sprak ook heel goed Engels. Geluid (vooral contact geluid als schuiven van stoelen) van bovenburen. Bij drukke bovenburen mogelijk problemen! Twee keer zonder water gezeten omdat druk wegviel bij het verversen van het zwembad. Dat was helaas niet van tevoren aangekondigd, zodat we bij late terugkeer van een warm uitje ongedoucht naar bed moesten.

- Doordat er ook 2 appartementen boven ons appartement liggen is het wat onduidelijk welke buitenplaats bij welk appartement hoort. Onze bovenburen zaten direct onder ons slaapkamerraam te roken en tot laat te kletsen met onze kinderen in bed. - Zwembad erg aangenaam, ontvangst gastvrij, schoon appartement, - Jammer van probleem met afvoer douchewater (wel netjes opgelost, maar 3 dagen niet kunnen douchen)

Belle demeure, fraiche même pas fortes chaleurs. Région charmante (Vinci et les villages plus au nord), un peu différente des paysages du Chianti. Piscine très appréciable pour se rafraichir. Poussière sous les meubles devant dater de l'an dernier... moustiques féroces, une seule moustiquaire (à trous) pour deux chambres. Piscine et abords mériteraient aussi plus de soins. Pas de rencontre avec les autres locataires. Bruyant si voisins du dessus indélicats.
