"We stayed as a family and enjoyed the properties facilities including pool swings and outdoor games. The Tuscan dinner was enjoyable with amazing views. Property in convenient to local restaurants and provided a great recommendation list. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Great value. My only suggestion would be to provide some basics on arrival such as tea, coffee, milk. A hairdryer would also be useful."

"Host Lorenzo and his parents were fantastic: Friendly, helpful and pleasant. They put on an amazing breakfast every morning and helped us with things to see and do in the area. Property had great character and is in a great location. Town was charming. Our room was clean, large and rustic."

"This villa is everything I imagined a country Italian villa would be. One or our two hosts met and greeted us as we arrived, toured us of the property and the 16 day adventure began at this stunning property. There were 12 of us. We each had our own private room, bathroom. There were 3 couples. 1 occupied the adoreable cabana, the other 2 shared a 2/2 kitchenette. All beds were very comfortable KING beds with exception of one twin triple room on the bottom entry floor. We all gathered each morning for coffee and go over the days events in the large kitchen and at the beautiful dining area on the first floor. It is set amongst the rolling hills of Tuscany nestled between an olive grove and stunning views of the village in the distance and farm land and homes abound. The outdoor seating areas and of course the beautifully kept pool were peaceful respites at the end of a long day of touring. Ive seen reviews for this property who were upset with lack of transportation. This is true but stated within their description of property. Although the center of Montespatoli is approximately 5 km away we found a tasting winery, a church, 2 cafes, 1 restaurant, petrol station and a bus stop within walking distance. All these businesses are friendly helpful and fantastic service. "

Holiday home in the Florentine Chianti half an hour from Florence

"Our family of eight truly enjoyed our stay in this unique 400 year old casa, with modern amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen. It is a very cool juxtaposition with old stone hearth ,stone sink beamed arched ceilings, ancient stone walls. the awesome rooftop deck was an wonderful setting for a tuscan meal with beautiful views of the countryside. What a unique experience to live like the villagers, going to the supermarket, the small coffee,& restaurants and witness all of the townspeople from babies, school age kids & parents to old residents hanging out in the town piazza thru the day and evenings. A varied experience after spending 3 days in the hear of Rome. Highly recommend doing a bike tour with Massimo & team (a 10 minute walk from the casa) "Toscana by bike" for the day, as well. visitors should be aware the 5 bedrooms are small with no real closets, but they provide good privacy & quiet. And most of the showers are on the small side but there are 4 of them. The washer was a plus, and drying in the open air on the terrace, just like the villagers. Highly recommend for travelers who don't mind the rusticity, but are interested in experiencing the charm of a small village. We were a blended family of (2) parents with 3 sons and a daughter and 2 girlfriends, ages 20-30. Everyone enjoyed our stay!"

19 years on, still perfect.

"Really cant fault the place. Its superb. Each and every staff member were exceptionally friendly, making a fuss of our 3 year old. Nothing was too much for them. Wished we had longer there to enjoy the grounds and swimming pool. My wife came here 19 years ago and wasnt disappointed with the return visit. Wonderful."

Fantastic quaint agritourismo in the Tuscan hills

"Great place to stay in the Tuscan hills. This working farm produces fantastic olive oil and wine, both available for purchase and served in their own restaurant. The rooms are spacious and provide stunning views of the countryside. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The location is off the heavily beaten tourist path, a very nice and quiet environment. Location is also only a short drive to Florence for easy day trips (use the park and tram ride to city center at Villa Constanza). Great access to other beautiful hilltop towns as well, including Certalgo, etc. Our room (apartment) had a private bedroom, living room, fireplace, patio, and a full kitchen. We will definitely stay here again in the future!"
