"While not a 5 star resort per se it was a 5 star experience for us. We prefer smaller places and usually don't go all inclusive as we enjoy eating local but the price point made it the best of both worlds. Food was good with many options and variety. The resort is older but well maintained and clean. The staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the entertainment, a young lady who sang (different sets) 2 nights was charming and very good. While no swimming on this beach it was great for walking (estuary at one end) and enjoying the waves, birds and sunrises. The 3 pools were plenty for swimming. We really enjoyed San Jose Del Cabo and Decameron was well located for all of our adventures. "

"The room was comfortable, clean and pretty and the pool and views were stunning, but I think what made this vacation the most special was the room hosts that were assigned to us- Alexander and Mariana. They went the extra mile for us to make sure all our needs are being addressed. We had some miss communications with some stuffs in the hotel, but they immediately made sure to solve it and made us very comfortable and happy. The experience wouldn’t be the same without them. "

"The pool area was great, never really crowded. They had several pools in different areas of the property. Loved that we could walk right onto the beach. Was able to walk right into the waves and enjoy them. Our room was on the street side of the hotel and the lights at night were beautiful and could see up to the mountain range."

"This is our second time this year staying at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos - it's the first time I've ever wanted to return to the same hotel again, so that says a lot! Both visits we had a swimout room - but to be honest, the pool wasn't very busy and we barely used our swimout! We find the food at the restaurants to be very good, especially compared to other Mexican all inclusives we have experienced. It's not an amazing gourmet experience, but there's lot's of selection, it's well done, and we were very pleased with all of our meals (appies, mains, desserts, included). The staff are friendly and courteous, and overall, we really do enjoy this resort and would love to come back again. I've recommended it already to friends and family. The location is easy, a short taxi ride into San Jose del Cabo (a great little town/city!) or places such as Flora Farms as a destination. "
