"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"Just spent a lovely 2 weeks in this apartment. The location was perfect - only downside was the very noisy club down stairs - extremely loud music until 0300hrs every night. We were aware of this before booking so brought ear plugs. It did not spoil our stay. Apartment is comfortable. Kitchen adequate for self catering as plenty places to eat out at close quarters. Roof terrace lovely to sit out on but terrace furniture in dire need of replacement. George was very helpful and easy to...

The house perhaps needs some updating and attention to detail but was very homely and comfortable for our stay. Costas was very welcoming and intentive to our needs. "The apartment matches the description and the photos. It is well set up, with everything you need for your stay. There are 2 AC units, one in each room, with a door that can be closed between them. The patio has shade all day and a nice view of the pool. The pool is well-maintained, and perfect for families, with several depth options. The apartment is a great base to explore the area. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into town (1km), where there are lots of dining and shopping options. "

"This house is brand new and has plenty of room. It is also air conditioned in each room which makes a big difference when you need a good sleep and respite from the heat. The location is good and close to the bigger centers. There are local restaurants and shops as well. The beach is a short walk and only a 5 min cab ride. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for good accommodations with a pool. I plan to visit again. "
