"Stayed 1 night. Great location in downtown Visalia before early AM drive to Sequoia NP. Glad we chose Visalia over Fresno as our starting point. Hotel has great "character" and is in excellent condition. Many restaurants & shops within walking distance. Hotel has a rooftop restaurant with nice views, but we didn't eat there. "

"Didn’t like the deep jacuzzi tub. Even with grab bars, it was hard for senior citizens to get in and out. No bath mat or gripper stickers on bathtub floor. Prices at restaurant too high…$21.95 for buffet breakfast. Pizza place not that great either. The heat/ air conditioner unit in room was as loud as a remote control car."
