"We spent two months in this lovely town, in an amazing house. Piero and Natalia were excellent hosts. The house is well equipped and the terrace is wonderful. The weather for November and December was very comfortable, even able to swim in the sea. The folks of Balestrate were kind and very helpful. The quality of the food, from meat to fruit and veggies to fresh baked bread and pastries was very good. Balestrate itself is an easy town to walk so you dont need a car. The train and bus...

"Ein Landgut wird beworben, eine heruntergekommene und schmutzige Anlage findet man vor. Überall Müll am Gelände, die Küche/Kühlschrank verdreckt, nicht gekehrt und die Bäder eine Zumutung. Wir mussten erstmal putzen.. Klimatisiert sind nur 2 Doppelzimmer über ein klappriges Gerät in einem Vorraum - wie man hier in heißen Monaten mit bis zu 8 Personen schlafen soll möchten wir uns nicht vorstellen. Viele alte Möbel wo überall kaputte Dinge drin waren, das Untergeschoss nur eine Rumpelkammer......

"Unser Apartment in der letzten Reihe ganz oben außen ist wirklich ganz schön gelegen. Eine bessere Wegbeschreibung wäre schön, da man sich schon sicher sein möchte, wenn man die steile Auffahrt hoch fährt, dass man dort richtig ist. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber sauber, allerdings wären ein paar neue Stühle für innen und außen angebracht, da sie entweder fast auseinander brechen, oder verrostet sind. "This property is in the middle of a huge olive tree grove. It was so peaceful. The property was very clean and had everything you could need. The host provided extras such as soap, wash clothes and olive oil (the things you wouldn’t think to pack and are pleased not to need to buy). We stayed there with our two children aged 13 and 10 and they loved it. The pool is fantastic and the seating areas outside. You can see the sea which is 10 minutes drive max and the Greek temples of Selinunte. Local...

"Lovely property, the outside area and pool are fabulous. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Cinzia was super helpful with restaurant recommendations and helped us book a really good boat trip. Couple of good local pizzerias within 15-20 minutes walk, as well as a bar and an excellent bakery. We had a great week! "
