"Beautiful location and stunning building, only ourselves and the owners there on our two night stay. Lovely staff. Friendly owners. Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. Also a ton of ants in and around bathroom. Tissue box full of them. Breakfast which was included was poor. Very old looking tomato and cucumber slices and tbh v little...

"This is a special villa from which to explore the Vittoria DOCG wine region and Chiaramonte Gulfi. The villa is beautiful and peaceful. We were lucky to be the only guests there at the time. The breakfast is well above standard for the region. We highly recommend this villa."

"The property was lovely and beautifully appointed, but there was some confusion with the booking app about check-in time. We almost had to go back to the village airstrip for the night at 1 am because the proprietress didn’t want to accommodate an after-hours booking the app allowed. We had no idea of any of that and were in our taxi on the way to the property when I called just to confirm the booking—the owner tried to refuse us and if I hadn’t forced the issue, I don’t know what would have...

"Warm welcome and outstanding food! We purchased the dinner and found it spectacular. Her local specialties were so delicious and so many! So many of the appetizers were of local farms and recipes of the area. And Breakfast was extra special with warm local ricotta and delicious fruit. Great location for visiting Modica, Ragusa etc"

"The hotel is beautifully restored. Too bad we only stayed 1 night , it would have been nice to stay another day and chill out in the pool. We enjoyed an aperitivo on the rooftop and the sunset was gorgeous. The staff we very nice and showed us the whole place . Conchita in the restaurant was very nice and Omma and the front desk Valerie and the rest of the staff were all nice."

"Nice base to explore Donnafugata, local beaches and southern Sicily more generally. Be aware that you may need to use local restaurants in the evening (five minute drive). Went here on honeymoon and would happily return."
