"Well kept, well attended, and good options from cheaper to more private. I thought the pods were an interesting solution. I do feel as though they could keep the lights lower at night because that made it difficult to sleep. The pods also insulated themselves without airflow so you had to choose between privacy/light control with the curtain or baking yourself inside the pod. "Great staff. Getting to the shuttle pickup location at first was difficult with no special instructions. So if you are at first coming off the ferry, keep to the right and follow the sidewalk around to the cul de sac behind the Tolhuis restaurant. There you can be picked up when you call the hotel. We also used WhatsApp but it did take longer. Our room had an issue of no power in the night, so we were moved in the dark to another room. After we confirmed it was the same class of room with a...

"Our family loved the easy going, colourful vibes of the hostel. Staying on the north side of Amsterdam suited us well. We frequented the grocery store right down the street and could use the common spaces in the hostel to eat our meals."
