"Stunning location, great for exploring Volterra and the region. We ate out well each night, supermarkets nearby if needed. The property is beautiful and full of Tuscan charm. The pool provided a welcome break from the heat! Would definitely recommend- thank you for letting us stay!"

"While the house is located far out in the Tuscan country side down a gravel road (closest small town is 15 away), it's location within Tuscany is unbeatable - 90 min from Florence, 25 min from Volterra - and Siena, San Gimingnano, Pisa/Lucca, wineries, beaches in between. The location is so peaceful and beautiful - bring bug spray for the mosquitos! A small price to pay for the views. Laura and Marco were very responsive and helpful. The place was spotless. Consuela and her family (Dominque is so sweet!) were AMAZING cooks - I would recommend doing the chef meals. One item of note - the 3 downstairs suites (Carraia, Mugnaia, and Volterrana) are only accessible from outside the villa - which is fine, we just didn't expect that. And Carraia does not have it's own kitchen, but it right next to a door to the house. Each room having it's own bathroom was a huge plus for our large group. I would recommend anyone to stay here!"
