"Nice clean hotel in Voss. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Stayed for the buffet style dinner which had an ok selection of hot food (pork/lasagne/fish) plus vegetables and a salad bar, also puddings. Fish wasn’t great but everything else was fine. Sauna had a great view of the water. "

"The location of this hotel is INCREDIBLE with views of the fjord and waterfalls! Our room was lovely, spacious and clean with a kitchen and couch. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious, especially the waffles. It was so nice to stay overnight in Gudvangen when there weren’t crowds there - the evening was peaceful on the fjord and in the morning we were able to do Viking Village when it first opened (axe throwing & archery with no line!!!) before all the tour buses and boat got there. Two complaints: 1. the curtains were sheer which is a major problem for trying to sleep during the summer in which it never truly gets dark 2. the wifi password was not listed out anywhere and we had to go back to the front desk to ask for it. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for a night to break up the “Norway in a Nutshell” itinerary. "

"We stayed for two nights, before the ski-ing season had begun. There were building works outside on the acces road side but our bedroom faced away from them and looked up the slopes. Our bedroom was very comfortable and warm. Breakfasts were good with a good choice of options and the dinners were excellent. Hotel staff were friendly, approachable and efficient when it came to dealing with our queries. I am not a skier so I cannot comment on what a ski stay might be like, but it was a good base for exploring the region by car."

"We spent four wonderful days in this comfortable home and were able to visit several of the fjords that are within a comfortable driving distance. The home is quiet and private, and all five of us enjoyed our stay. Even though the kitchen is a little snug, it had everything we needed to cook dinner. Communication with the management company was easy and quick."
