We made reservations several months ago, and had messages through the VRBO app, even up through the day we flew from the US to Lisbon, yet when we arrived we were told "there was a synchronization problem" so the apartment we scheduled and paid for months ago (when we had plenty of options) was no longer available. At this point there were absolutely no reasonably similar price available anywhere near. The host said they had 1 similar apartment, so...
