About this property

Architect-designed villa with colonial-style veranda. Spa, volcano & sea views .

  • Dominica is the Caribbean's natural paradise, unspoiled and authentic, boasting exceptional tropical landscapes, hiking trails to waterfalls, lakes, and volcanoes, and magnificent black sand beaches, some deserted, others equipped with charming local restaurants and sunbathing areas.

In this contemporary, tropical villa, ideally located in the hills just 15 minutes from the capital, Roseau, you'll enjoy everything Dominica has to offer. Hiking trails lead directly to Middleham Falls and other treks through the rainforest.
The elevated location guarantees an ideal temperature without the need for air conditioning. The jacuzzi offers a refreshing respite after sunbathing on the landscaped lawn. The developed beaches of Mero or Salisbury are a 20-minute drive away, supermarkets are 10 minutes away, and hiking trails to Middleham Falls and other nearby, secluded waterfalls start right from the villa.
The capital, Roseau, offers restaurants, bars, and a variety of cultural and musical activities, even outside the popular Carnival and World Music Festival periods.
This central location will also allow you to explore all of Dominica (Scott's Head and the volcanic champagne bubble beaches, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" beaches of the windward coast, the land of the Kalinago Indians, Emerald Pool, the hot springs of Wottenwaven, whale or dolphin tours from the Fort Young hotel, and why not try scuba diving in the island's coral reefs). You can also relax on the villa's many covered terraces, offering a large dining area and several comfortable outdoor lounges, as well as a hot tub, with a breathtaking view of the volcanic chain, the landscaped garden (which is fully fenced if you wish to bring a pet), and the Caribbean Sea as a backdrop.
The house is over 250 square meters.
It has fiber optic internet with very high speed, allowing you to work remotely. There is also an office equipped with a printer (this office can be converted into a bedroom with the sofa bed).
The living room This 110 m² house is equipped with a professional hi-fi system, allowing you to stream your favorite music. It offers several living areas, including a TV room with a 68-inch smart TV.

The two covered verandas, totaling over 200 m², feature numerous sofas and armchairs, perfect for relaxing with friends or reading while enjoying the view.
The entire house is tastefully decorated, with new, high-quality bedding, elegant furniture, and ethnic art pieces that contribute to its unique blend of exotic, contemporary, and colonial charm.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all possible appliances (stove with oven, microwave, mini-oven, espresso machine, blender, mixer, hand mixer, refrigerator, freezer, etc.), including a dishwasher. There is an abundance of dishes and cooking utensils, allowing you to prepare meals at home using organic vegetables and fresh fish (tuna, marlin, mahi-mahi, etc.) available at the Roseau market or directly from the fishermen upon their return from fishing trips. Boats.

The neighborhood bordering the rainforest is a safe and elegant residential area.

You can buy organic vegetables, fruits, and herbs at the organic farm next door.

This house is ideal for a group of friends or two families who love nature and authenticity, and are looking for a unique experience on a warm and welcoming unspoiled island, far from mass tourism.

Access is easy, but often requires a connection:

    - Direct flights from Miami daily or from New York 2 to 3 times a week
    - Ferry with Compagnie Express des Îles from Fort-de-France or Pointe-à-Pitre, after a direct flight from France (several flights daily)
    - Or via regional airlines from other Caribbean islands if you wish to travel around the Antilles (Barbados, Saint Martin, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Antigua, etc.) or arrive in Barbados from London. From Saint Lucia, take the Compagnie Express des Îles ferry.

Renting a car is highly recommended. Numerous cultural activities, featuring remarkable singers and musicians. A few examples besides Carnival: Jazz'n Creole in May, Dive Festival in July, Art Festival in August, as well as Breakfast Feast, World Music Creole Festival in October, and Independence Feasts in November. Throughout the year, enjoy jazz, reggae, calypso, bouyon, soca, etc., at Realm on Tuesdays or elsewhere.
This is a house we have lovingly renovated for ourselves. Thank you for taking care of it. A chef can be hired upon request.
