"We had a stay in this super clean, modern and very friendly apartment/hotel Rioca. The local station into the city is only a few minutes walk away, plus there are shops and restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and the small kitchen had all the essentials. The friendly staff were always on hand and went out of their way to make us feel very welcome, in particular Mr. Cassano. Thank you for a great stay. We definitely plan to return when we are next in Munich."

"Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel, rooms well equipped, clean and tidy. Each room has a balcony, although not all overlook the lake. Excellent restaurant in the hotel, highly recommended. The roof top bar gives wonderful views of Tegernsee and surrounding area, definitely worth a visit. They also have the local beer on tap, and a good selection of other drinks, spirits and cocktails. Breakfast at the hotel while good is a little pricey if you pay as you go, so if you want breakfast maybe pre-boiling is best, but otherwise zero complaints. We learned also that visiting tourists can get free local bus travel, more info is available from the hotel reception staff and Tegernsee tourist information. Local taxi's can be quite expensive and airport transfers can be challenging. Uber is available in Munich and at the airport but not locally in Tegernsee, so hiring a car or using the train network are good alternatives. After all the hotel is on Bahnhofstraße (station road) and is only around 200m away. In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend the Caro & Selig, our experience was excellent."
