"This is a hotel that is vintage and has history. It is clean, with incredibly helpful staff. Wednesday evening is hula dancing and live music from local musicians. The ocean is a block or so away and is in walking distance to the International Market. Plenty of local food and easy access to everything. Mahalo for the hospitality, Royal Grove!"

"Our stay was okay, but there were a few things that could definitely be improved. The room had carpet that smelled like feet, and the bathroom also had an unpleasant odor. If you’re assigned a room facing the road, be prepared for a lot of traffic noise because the windows don’t do much to block the sound.
On the positive side, the pool was great for the kids, and the weight room was clean and well maintained. One thing to keep in mind is that alcohol is not permitted outside of your room, so...
