"Fantastic hotel: location, amenities, service, food, room qualities, views...Pricey, with all the usual ancillary charges (the famous "resort fee"), but overall well worth it given the (mid-tier) quality of other north shore hotels. The design of the property alone, with its vistas of Hanalei Bay around every corner, plus the beautifully appointed rooms and great staff, makes it all worthwhile. Our only minor quibble is the service can be slow at times, especially at their main restaurant and bar, and with their bell (luggage) services. This might have been that they were understaffed given the slightly off-season time we were there, but at these luxury price points slow service, for whatever reason, should not be tolerated. To pay north of $1K per night I expect my food to arrive within a reasonable amount of time (say, within 20m). After all, while the food is very good it is not Michelin-starred (so why the long wait times...?) In the grand scheme of our stay this was minor and we would definitely return."

"Everything was clean but there was several construction projects going on and they had the entrance all boarded up which made it a challenge to get around."

"The Kauai Inn is both charming and elegant. I have now stayed here twice and I love it. The people are kind and gracious; the included breakfast is wonderful; and the atmosphere and location of the inn is stunning. I could sit all day just watching the amazing mountains behind the inn or watching the massive clouds move across the sky. So much beauty here and no hustle/bustle. This is a simple, clean, and special place where one can relax and take in the beauty of the location."

"The room was clean, bed was comfy, and the AC worked great! Having an in-room washer/dryer was a great bonus, too! Overall, the Kōloa Landing property was great, and there were plenty of great restaurant options within walking distance (the on-site restaurant and marketplace were solid as well). We wouldn’t hesitate to come back anytime we’re in Kaua’i!"

"Perfect stay. From check in we were given Hawaiian leis and had a wonderful overview by a staff member. Rooms were clean and quiet and beds comfortable. Housekeeping regularly cleaned each day. The pool and bar was perfect for relaxing. The ocean view was incredible with people surfing every day right in front of the resort. Valet parking was always quick and friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat!"
