"We loved our stay! It's an authentic Hawaiian-style home tucked away intona lush garden with amazing varieties of ginger. The property sits right along the river, and you can paddleboard, we kayaked, straight out to a sandbar and a quiet beach that made for the perfect picnic spot.The two-bedroom house was spacious, clean, and nicely-decorated. We made great use of the washer and dryer, and the open kitchen/dining/living area made it easy to spread out and relax. The wraparound lanai gave us beautiful views of the gardens and river. Covered parking was a plus, with plenty of room for kayaks, paddle boards, bikes - whatever you bring, buy, or rent!Mark was fantasic - always available, generous with beach gear, and full of genuinely helpful information that made our trip even better. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Charlie and Lydia’s house is magnificent and their hosting efforts sublime - the photos do not do it justice. First, the house is a timberframe with a private back yard and huge lanai perfect for relaxation. The house is wood, marble and stone with gorgeous touches … a huge comfy couch in front of a big screen TV/Wifi, every coffee lovers dream with countless options for coffee making, first rate mattresses and linens, and bathrooms that are a pleasure to shower in! Even more, however, was that when we discovered a really minor issue — the beach umbrella was broken — later that day, their property manager (who we never met), Lana, left a perfect replacement on our doorstep. Thank you, Lydia, for sharing you little slice of heaven with us. There is nothing that I can suggest — the house, its location and the touches arranged by Lana are just perfect."

"Just book it! This place is incredible in every way! So clean! Feels brand new and the decor and finishes are so nice! If you want to wake up to the ocean waves and be able to step right out onto the beach, this is the place for you! Everything you need to cook at home if you don't want to drive to town. (Go to Walmart to get your groceries before you head North, food at local stores is expensive) This home does share a lot with another identical home, but those guests were not a problem for us. You will see other people though because of that if the other home is booked, so if you want total seclusion, this is not the place for you. It does take about 10 minutes of driving to get to Hanalei for any restaurants, etc... everything takes a while in Hawaii due to windy slow roads. As far as the beach goes, this is NOT a snorkeling beach. In fact, we couldn't get in the water at all. There are lots of big rocks and big waves since this home faces North. The water is rough in this area, so do not plan to get in the water at this home. Tons of nearby beaches though that are safer for water stuff. Not being able to get in the water was not an issue for us. You have to give up something to have views like this! Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Manager was super responsive when we had an issue. The only thing that I did not like was that the hot tub chemicals were so strong that you could not actually get in and enjoy it."

"We stayed at the property at the end of September/beginning of October. We enjoyed ourselves very much, have no complains, house is incredible, we spent most of our time there siting on the beautiful lanai, house is very close to the beach, accessible through a fun, short forest walk and pathway, took us just a few minutes to get to the beach and maybe ten more minutes to get to Tunnels beach with amazing views and snorkeling. House was very clean, ready for us upon our arrival and we really appreciated all the beach equipment including chairs, snorkeling gear etc. house does not have an AC (that we knew) but is well equipped with fans and we did not feel the need for it. House feels secluded and private, no views of other houses. Chickens and roosters were fun to have around:).I can only recommend this property, we felt very happy to spent our vacation there, absolutely no regrets!! Mahalo!!"
