It is in a great location to if you want to relax without crowds, so we loved that part. The cottages are a bit dated - we didn’t really want to open the windows for example. But we would definitely go back and we give it an overall high rating.

This is a cozy, quiet, rustic place to stay. There are individual cottages with kitchens and homey amenities, a pool and a sandy beach. There's also a restaurant and bar on the property with great bbq and pizzas. We spent a week here and would definitely stay again. This is not a party place or a place to bring your rowdy, bored kids.

Nice cottage and good resort facilities. Great location to access Waimea Gorge beauty spots and hikes. Local Da Fish Boil food truck was awesome. Curtains are not blockout, so bring eye-mask if you don't want to wake up with the sun.

The cottage was beautiful and so comfortable except for the couch. The property is so beautiful and it seemed so secluded. The view and grounds were wonderful and we were happy to go home to our cottage after a day at the beach. I highly recommend staying here.

This place was amazing. I also gave us a huge upgrade, the cottage we had was very large, very beautiful. The grounds were phenomenal. The bathrooms were phenomenal and the kitchen, and the AC. Everything was absolutely stellar, and a very large kitchen that we did use. I would stay here again in a second if I am in this area again.

This place was a perfect fit for us, and it offered everything we needed and wanted. From complimentary laundry and laundry soap to a well-stocked kitchen, a lovely pool to beautiful trees and landscaping, a cute, comfortable, spacious (2-bedroom, oceanfront) cottage to friendly staff, a great location (for easy access to Polihale State Park, Waimea Canyon, Poipu Beach, and Port Allen) to an on-site restaurant serving delicious food, it made for an ideal place to call home while on Kaua’i. Already dreaming about returning to it.

We had been traveling for several weeks before staying at cottages so it was nice having a bigger space. The property is a bit isolated, no large hotels nearby, so great nighttime star gazing. While you easily have beach access, the beach has lots of driftwood lining the edge so no real beach sitting. There is a beach walk along the water. Good thing there is a kitchen because the on-site restaurant is terribly expensive ($21 for very average cheeseburger) and you don’t really have wait staff, have go to counter to order. We ended up going to a nearby grocery store & getting breakfast & lunch items so kitchen is decently equipped.

We enjoyed the park very much and love the individual units and the 2 bedroom cottage where we stayed. The kitchen was well stocked. The only small disappointment was the cleanliness of the rooms, where some areas were quite dusty. Overall a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay on the property. Great spot to watch sunsets as the property is on the beach. Our cottage was over 100 years old. I was able to learn more about the history of our cottage from the hotel's history printout. If you're looking for a quite plae in a relaxing location, this is it.

If you’re looking for a more quiet setting that feels like home and authentic vibes with history this is the place. It is absolutely beautiful. Near so many other attractions and beaches and a perfect souvenir shop on site and just up the road 1 minute along with a grocery store making grabbing and cooking meals at the cottage easy. Pool is perfect and the grounds are meticulously maintained. Staff is so kind, friendly and helpful. Truly a vacation of a lifetime for our family and we are already planning our return visit. Perfect for families with children and with the restaurant onsite you really do have everything you need. Mahalo! Until we meet again!

Cute, qaint historical cottages dot the landscape of this beautiful well maintain property. Love the fact that there was a restaurant & bar on the property and the bonus is the food was wonderful! Loved the #86 cottage. Out favorite place was drinking coffee on the lanai, look out on the beautiful lush lawn and listen to the ocean hit the shore. It was paradise for us.

Having the cottage is awesome with a porch that looks out to the ocean! The cottage was basically clean, but not like the baseboards are near the bed which was kind of gross. However, the Waimea area is amazing, and I loved the separation from others by staying in the cottages

The accomidations are rustic. It is not a fancy resort. You will step back in time to the early 50's of Hawaii. It is peaceful and beautiful; high priced resorts can't come close. I hope they never change; this is my Kauai "goto" place.
