"Beautiful historic house in the heart of Auckland. Our host was wonderful: friendly, good conversation, deep knowledge about Auckland, and makes truly fluffy scrambled eggs."

"We booked through Hotels.com well in advance of our visit but on arrival Bryan was not expecting us. Fortunately there was a room available. A nice continental breakfast was left out for us which was cereal, croissant, apple puffs or toast. We had a decent sized room with bathroom and toilet down the corridor. This would have been shared but there were no other residents when we stayed. The bed was very comfortable. Bryan was v. helpful and provided a list of local restaurants and take always."

"Please do not stay at this property. Customer service is at the forefront of a quality experience, and this is sadly lacking here. It will ruin everything else, no matter how good it is. Had a family emergency and required to change a few things. Had issues with the booking and tried to get in contact with the property via e-mail. No response to two e-mails. Ended up calling them three times, but each time it went to answering machine. Left multiple message with a phone number to get a...

"I liked the size of the apartment and the cleanliness. It was a good base to visit the hospital. The parking was a little anxiety producing getting in and out but was a bonus as on site. The hand basin drained very slowly and I advised them. I would have like a scrubber to clean the pot with. It was spotless when we arrived but the dishwasher and soft cloth didn’t bring it back to that."
