Cottages in Walker County

We had the suite . It was nice and roomy and very clean. The only problem was the hotel was having difficulty with their hot water system, and the shower was only lukewarm. Other than that, the staff was very nice.

Hotel was so clean and comfortable. The bed was as cozy as can be! Being pet friendly was a plus.

While the rooms do appear to need some update they were very clean and the staff was friendly and professional.

Property was a little hard to find Google Maps don’t take you right to it but once you find it is clean and quiet.

This is no five star hotel... But who'd want to pay for that? The bed was comfy, The room was clean, the bathroom was spotless, the bedding was freshly washed. No issues with the wifi, connected just fine. Breakfast was great, and included eggs, waffles, and biscuits & gravy. All 3 staff I spoke with were friendly and welcoming. Will book again next time I'm in town!

Clean room and public areas. Practical design of the rooms. Definitely newly built. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast. They kept it replenished throughout the 630-900 service time. Staff was professional and friendly. Definitely will stay again when in the area.

The room was clean and smelled wonderful (both reasons I generally stay at Hampton Inns), the people were friendly, the breakfast was good and the packed lunch was a bonus. It was the first time I had ever been able to hear anyone in another room (maybe the insulation between the rooms wasn't quite as good as it might have been??) but as soon as I called and complained, it was taken care of....

This is an amazing property! We stayed in the cobblestone suite. It had a separate seating area, access to a wonderful balcony, a walk-in shower, and a comfortable king size bed. They also provided extra linen/blankets in the closet. It can be a little confusing on how to access the security desk where you check in and then the hotel but if you follow the very detailed instructions that they send to you and use Google maps to locate the areas you will be fine. The staff were great and friendly and our room was perfect with a beautiful view. The restaurant food was extremely good and reasonably priced.

The hotel has been open for about 1 month. The rooms are very large and comfortable, equipped with a mini kitchen. It is conducive to long stays and would work well for business travellers. The staff was extremely friendly. This is my hotel of choice when staying in this area just north of Birmingham.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how well the hotel was maintained. The property was very clean. The staff was very professional and friendly. the room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable which gave me a good night sleep. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will stay again.

Room was clean along with the bathroom, shower was roomy and had good water pressure. TV worked fine, all lights were working, plenty of clean towels. They had a small pool and exercise room. Parking lot was well lit and plenty of parking. This location was just over a small hill from Interstate 65 which meant it was a little more quiet than some others. Staff was very polite and very helpful. Plenty to eat in the morning if you wanted that.

We stayed in the cottage, in room B. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we had ever slept on The temperature in the room stayed nice and cool, especially during the hot July weather. You can tell a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. For breakfast we were given a voucher to Charles Cafeteria. The food there was great and the staff was real friendly.
