"An ideal stay for a short trip to Newcastle. Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was as expected for what we paid: spacious and well laid out with tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge. It was a bit dated, but that didn’t affect our stay. The pool was run-down and not worth the extra £5 to be able to use."

"Only stayed overnight for early flight, room rate and room was good, bar and meals were expensive for what was provided. Not good value."

"We went so you dont have too! Music from bar opposite till gone midnight meant 2 nights little sleep with all noise after traffic etc breakfast nevwr replenished staff at breakfast so rude save your money book somewhere else they think its finny at reception when they ask you how was stay and you explain not good so noisy and they say yes those rooms facing the bar are really noisy well why not tell us on check in ?!?! "

"We always choose the Vermont when visiting Newcastle it is in a perfect location and the staff are great. The hotel is having an upgrade staring in the top floor working down which will be great as the rooms are currently quite dated but still nice, everything you need and a decent size. "
