"Great location, not the best breakfast only one hot option offered, and a couple of cold options fruit/yoghurt/cereal, The accommodation was okay nothing special. The staff were great and very accommodating"

"Room is very clean and spacious."

"Comfy beds, clean and well kept, great kitchenette, easy check in and check out"

"Everything is excellent, while single beds are a bit smaller than the standard ones. Yet this is the best motel we stayed in the South Island of NZ."

"Great amenities are greatly let down by their poor maintenance and cleanliness, and a “resort” where an unbelievable number of things don’t work or haven’t been maintained. I lost of count of the number of dirty, broken, or poorly maintained items in the room I stayed in. The place needs some major love."

"Property was very clean and had modern appliances. The living area and the patio offered a great view of the nearby mountains. It was conveniently located near the town center so walking to restaurants and shop was easily manageable. The bed in the main room was slightly uncomfortable – it felt like it was two adjoining twin-beds and you can sense the seam between the two beds with a slight slant towards the edge of the bed. "Great stop over in Southland. Gracious host good accomodations. Beautiful town."

"We had a great stay, despite our 1st room and 1st night being difficult as we were placed in a room directly in front of tennis courts and later to find out a basketball court! Which was used a lot in the evening. Luckily we were able to be moved to another apartment which was MUCH nicer overall in terms of being in better shape and comfortable beds and also quiet."

"Lovely view and comfortable beds. Great set up for a family of 6. "

"Clean spacious room. Great location, walking distance from main part of town. Huge park right across the street. Lots free parking available."

"Very clean and today and in great location. Opposite food trucks and bagels for quick coffee and dinners , 5 min walk to town. Lovely setting with garden and stream in back area . Older motel so no mod cons and looks a bit dated but good shower pressure and warm enough ."

"Spacious and great helpful staff!"

"Very basic, but perfect for what we needed. Soap and shampoo were provided, and each bunk had its own reading light and charging port, which was very convenient. A personal locker was also provided, along with additional storage space underneath the bed. Strip your bed and duvet before you leave and leave it in the laundry basket by the reception. Shared kitchen and spaces were clean. Great location and the price is good."

"Lovely place to stay and good locations. The wifi was terrible though and we didn’t have outside dining but everyone other cabin did which was disappointing"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable guest house. Highly recommend."
